The GFS MM Pro Plus gives your Music Man style bass incredible power, bottom end and string response. If you need thunderous low end, a round and vintage style high end and just crazy tone- these are for you.
We wound these firm and full- 8.35K. These use Alnico V polepiece magnets, Formvar plain enamel wire, Fiber bobbins, and they are potted in a beeswax/paraffin mixture. Once they are wound, we insert them in the cover, apply a full copper shield for the back, and thoroughly epoxy seal the pickup ends- Whew! The result is a dead quiet, incredible pickup that is full of tone and SHOULD sell for around $100.
These are a direct retrofit for any Music Man style bass.
