The XV-500 Series features a Solid Mahogany back and neck, long tenon glued-in joint with 3/4" THICK solid maple top finished with a spectacular veneer of Highly Figured flamed maple. The result is a stunning looking Rock Machine with the great classic LP tone and endless sustain. We've installed a genuine pair of GFS Crunchy Pat humbuckers- zebra finish on cream mounting rings- for classic looks, great sustain and real rock power. From hard edged classic rock to syrupy blues licks- the 500 has it covered. The top is solid Maple, and we include premium appointments like heavy duty chrome bridge and tailpiece, full sized Alpha brand potentiometers and smooth, 14:1 sealed tuning machines.
